How well does the keyboard and mouse work with the ps3 on UT3?

Ive never personally tried it but i know a lot of players that do, and never heard any major complaints

They work okay, not being able to dodge by double tapping the movement keys keys is annoying though and no back or forward dodge =

I find the mouse is a bit weird to aim with as well, probably be alright for most people but because I've always played UT on my PC it's a bit weird.

All in all they work fine though, would much rather use them then a pad.

Couldn't really seem to navigate the GUI very well though, needed my DS3 to accept options etc.

Have heard it works well,

but tbh, this is a console game, therefore everyone should use pads imho.

I remember the good old days of Quake 3 on the dreamcast,

I used mouse and keyboard online and basically you could

run rings round pad players.

does it give u an advantage?? or is it slightly unfair??

Its only really down to preference, i use a pad and know many other top levle players that have no problem competing with keyboard users

I think your answer must be that most people who read this board dont play with mouse and keyboard,

(probably because like me they play sat on the sofa which is not a great place for a mouse and keyboard lol)
