Totally agree Oizu. Some of them you mentioned are great looking games. The blur effect on ut3 people are moaning about is also not a fair point at all. Theres a map to download on ut3mod.com set on a tropical beach, where the creator has deliberately left out the blur effect for people who didnt like it. And to the dude who mentioned the Havok engine, isn't that just a physics engine? Its not a graphics engine.

I thought we were talking about the engines as a whole, not just graphics, I mean sure Havok is pretty much just a physics engine, but I didn't see anywhere that said we were discussing JUST the graphics, lol... I mean sure, UE3 has great ragdoll physics, but if you ask me, it goes WAY over the top sometimes, I mean, Batman AA for example, you punch some guy, and his limbs just look retarded as they fall to the floor, it's like they've got too much of their own personality, and don't know where to fall... I mean, if you've noticed, with alot of UE3 games, there's always a glitch to be found where someones arms or legs are constantly flailing about like god knows what... and I've yet to see a game made with the Havok engine that suffers from this glitch, which is why I'm a fan of it... that, and some of my favourite games were made with it, haha.

Fair enough, lol. Yeah I agree with you Havok is a great physics engine, i've noticed a lot of games using it recently. I don't think I have noticed any really obvious oddities with it either like you mentioned about flailing limbs and such.  The original motorstorm showed it off great with the slow motion replays of riders falling off bikes and stuff.

 

In fact, just looking through my selection of game I noticed Killzone 2 uses Havok, I never realised that, lol. Also UFC and Condemned 2 do in my collection as well.
