I sold Ghost Recon 2 because it got a bit dull online and was very thin on features. However Ghost Recon: Future Soldier sounds pretty awesome.
It's been ages now since the previous installment I'm sure we can expect all the latest online support and features to come with this new one. Can't wait to see some gameplay. Anyone else feel the same?

I may as well resurrect this thread...
Only 2 months to go now before its released and I'm really starting to look forward to it, It's my last hope of a 3rd person tactical shooter after SoCod4: MAGchartered Forces failed in a major way and Confrontation being over run by hackers.
They seem pretty hyped about it being all about the teamplay, lets hope they pull it off ( they've took long enough )
Here's an old vid to refresh our memories:
anyone else looking forward to GRFS release?

Wow, is this game still going on - I thought it had got canned or something. Haven't heard from it in ages after a big drive last year sometime...

It's out Mar 6th in the US and probably the 9th for the EU, I'm glad they've took their time in developing the game how they want to and not being forced to rush out a dodgy product to fit an unrealistic deadline... *cough* BF3 *cough*
I'm quietly confident this'll be one of the (good) surprise games of the year, albeit in the tactical shooter department it doesn't have much competition

I played GRFS @ GameFest 2011 at the Birmingham NEC, and i have to say for me it was the best game on show, apart from FIFA 12 and Battlefield 3.
It looked great and also felt great to play.
They set up 10 consoles and linked the via LAN to simulate what the multiplayer would feel like. I would say that it rather felt like an incredibly smoother version of socom confrontation without the bugs.
I personally am looking forward to this and hope the be getting it on release! =)

With all due respect, it would feel smooth if it was a LAN network
