considering getting this game to play co-op with my mate, just a few questions, how is the co-op? can you play the campaign in co-op? and does it have replay value? Thanks

Co op allows you to play the campaign in co op and it has a "horde" mode called Guerilla which can be played with up to 4 friends.

Replay value can be found in the multiplayer and challenges in the campaign.

Thanks for the reply, shame no seperate story based co-op missions, prefer those to horde, but i guess having the sp in co-op is a plus.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

[ Edited ]

I have had it up to here with Ghost Recon Future Soldier's terrible, unbalanced, unfun, broken, full of camping tossers and people that dont play the objective Multiplayer.

I am going to speed through the Singleplayer, then trade this worse excuse of a game in, even if it has been signed by the Devs!

Also how can people find it FUN? It lacks a Team Deathmatch mode, the BIGGEST mistake any First Person Shooter / Third Person Shooter can do (So what if its a Tactical Shooter, doesn't mean nowt when people dont play the objective)

Please use plain text.

I traded my copy in a week after i bought it because i came across campers which puts me off any game, the multiplayer isnt terrible atall its the people who play it that turned me off it not the actual game itself, i didnt find the horde mode much fun either but i liked the single player campaign

I was disappointed with it but it certainly isnt the awful game your making it out to be.

Just trade it in if your not happy, thats what i did and not every multiplayer game needs to have Team Deathmatch, that mode is only for Call of Duty

Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, I need Friends! Lol

The Raven Strike DLC is out today for GRFS.  You can download it from today on the PlayStation Store.

------------------------------------------------

New Campaign Missions

SECUREDAWN_PSBLOG

In Secure Dawn, a plane transporting a highly valuable VIP has been shot down over a forested area next to the Russian border. A distress beacon has been received. The Ghosts deploy to find the VIP and safely extract him. With sensor grenades, drone and camouflage all out of commission, the player will have to take care of business the old-fashioned way!

COLDWALKER_PSBLOG

In Cold Walker, High Command have tracked a Raven’s Rock mobile command center to the inside of a train depot, deep in the heart of Russia. The Ghosts are deployed to locate and acquire precious intel. Cold Walker features multiple environment types: a massive open environment to test your infiltration skills; a complex and dangerous rail yard for intense combat, where cover, CQC, and reaction times are vital; and more…

ARGENTTHUNDER_PSBLOG

In Argent Thunder, the Ghosts are sent out to eliminate four Raven’s Rock VIPs trying to trigger a nationalist uprising in the city. At night, in a besieged Moscow, they will have to use the full potential of their tools to comprehend the dangers of the battlefield: numerous highly-trained enemies on the surrounding buildings, rooftops, bridges and vehicles promise a difficult fight!

GUERRILLA_PSBLOG

A New Guerrilla Mode Map

In Guerrilla mode, you have to secure and hold strategic positions against waves of incoming enemies. The first wave is all about stealth: take over the enemy HQ as quietly as possible and then hold the position against new waves of enemies. Every 10 waves, you have to secure and hold a new position. Each Guerrilla map features 50 waves of enemies. The new Guerrilla Mode map introduced by the Raven Strike DLC is called Sawmill.

The rising fog is turning this remote camp into a deathtrap. Dense woods nearby are perfect for cover and brutal close quarter combat. Drones can operate in the wide open areas near the sawmill. Play the Sawmill map alone, split-screen, on LAN, or over the internet with your friends.

Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, I need Friends! Lol

[ Edited ]

For those still playing Ghost Recon Future Soldier, new DLC is out today and to celebrate...

Double XP until Monday!

Khyber Strike features a new adversarial game type, three new multiplayer maps, a new Guerrilla Mode co-op map, new achievements, and an increased level cap.

A new adversarial game type

Our new game type is called Takeover and it’s playable on all 16 multiplayer maps. Similar to a classic Team Death Match, score points for your team by eliminating enemies. Tip the scales by taking control of the objective and earn a score multiplier to your team. Defend your team’s objective to prevent the enemy from gaining the same advantage. Choose to split your team to defend and attack at the same time, or move as a group and overwhelm your enemy. When the mission ends, the team with highest score wins.

Three new multiplayer maps

GRFS_DLC3_switchback_psblog

Switchback is a mix of open air markets and claustrophobic alleys divided by a busy street set in the old section of Peshawar. The twists and turns of the alleyways turn every corner into a close-quarters deathtrap, while constant elevation changes provide opportunities to gain the high ground while flanking your enemy.

GRFS_DLC3_palace_psblog

Palace provides a beautiful and luxurious setting in the Middle East with gardens, shady courtyards and ornate fountains as the centerpiece of the map.

GRFS_DLC3_transit_psblog

Transit is an urban Moscow subway station lined with shops, restaurants and large atriums lit with bright skylights. Trains pulling into and out of the station add to the danger as Ghosts and Bodark slug it out underground.

A new Guerrilla Mode map

A peaceful country village finds itself transformed into a battleground, as fighting rages around its central bus station. Long alleyways that run between war-damaged buildings make a perfect hunting ground for snipers, and a shootout near the town’s gas station could turn explosive. Play the Village map alone, split-screen, on LAN, or over the Internet with your friends.

Other

  • New Trophies
  • Level Cap increase of +10.
