I read about this over on the Ubi forums the other day. It's very poor when you have a game and you can't play with friends if they have a different region copy.

This is a major issue that needs to be patched immediately, forget the other stuff that's wrong and patch this first. I'm wondering if this is affecting the match making when trying to find a game as well.

hi just like to point out  that the information posted by eu playstation on this game states you need a eu copy for the uk two ru copies wont let you connect your frends as information said it had to be the same as yout consel region code

the bit that said unless your frenid has the right region code meant you could toin him in his party but he could not join you as it thinks you are in ru russia

Just checked mine, which was bought from Blockbuster, and it says I have the Russian version!

Surely all of us who have this are entitled to an exchange? I would like to know how copies of the this version even got into the shops in the first place.

I'd say it was an issue with the distribution in general. As long as all of us have the RU version i don't see a problem other the then language selection for some EU users as the only languages available are English, Polish and Russian.

Guys, if we have the RU version and the saved data is in the RU folder on the PS3, if we trade it in and then re-buy a EUR version later (or swap for a EUR version if one exists) then surely we will not be able to access our saved data?

So regardless of whether RU is the most popular version on sale in the UK the issue is that there are two versions for sale ... it is a lottery as to which you might re-buy later if you ever do.

But does anyone have the EUR version in the UK?

One reason why I won't be buying any DLC until it's confirmed that this won't be a problem.

This is the biggest problem concerning this game now, forget the other stuff for the time being and get this sorted.

So does anybody know how to fix this problem or do we just have to wait?
