Hmmm tempting:smileytongue: But then again I would have to buy my friend one too so we could co-op and I don't really like him very much.

Re: Ghost Recon: Online multiplayer huge problem. Refund offered.

There is a patch out next Tuesday, so hopefully this will have been sorted because the DLC is out the day after.

Well they will have to fix it if they want and kind of sales on the DLC. Can't see many people spending more money on a game that doesnt fully work yet.

[ Edited ]

Forget the DLC coming out on the 3rd July, it's been delayed now until later that month.

Not sure if the patch is coming out on time. I can see this game dying now and going the same way as others. Shame really because if you get into a good lobby and people play the way it's meant to be played then it's a lot of fun.

Re: Ghost Recon: Online multiplayer huge problem. Refund offered.

Patch is still scheduled for next week and includes the following and more ...

Matchmaking and Connection:
Reduction in the peak bandwidth required
Improved tuning of host selection weighting

Progression:

PS3 Voice Chat:
Fixed the primary issues causing players' voice chat to periodically drop out

Private/System Link Kit Storage:
Player’s last used kit per character will now persist across matches and sessions
Note that this is ONLY your last used kit per character and is shared between Private and System Link matches

Other:
Added code which lets us remotely tune the number of rounds in the Siege Gametype
Double-Time bonus no longer lost on respec - Players who had previously lost the bonus should have it restored after applying the title update
Fix for infinite loading screen
Fixed a few infrequent crashes

Doesn't look like they are patching the game data bug then.

Re: Ghost Recon: Online multiplayer huge problem. Refund offered.

well its took ubisoft french game developers 5 years to make the game and they have totaly *****ed up

no co op matchmaking

no story matchmaking

multiplayer rank resets

rank system or lvl system is rubbish

gun modifications were a beast

why oh why have 2 options for each class for example ;

rank to level 50 on scout class and unlock a new scout class after rank / lvl 50

story was great

all i can say is a hope ubisoft hire slant six as they could make a better game with 24 months

Re: Ghost Recon: Online multiplayer huge problem. Refund offered.

I've not had many problems with the online side, get the odd disconnection and lag, but apart from that it's ok.

My only concern with the game is the community, will there still be a lot of people playing in a couple of months? I think I may hold off on buying the DLC to see what happens.
