Loving this game. I am glad i rented it, as Zavvi have still not dispatched my copy of BoS yet.
Had a few versus games last night on Simulator with loads of english guys, was really good fun. I just wish it was easier to earn money... as I seem to always be repairing my aircrafts.
Also been boosting a few matches with bots to earn some camos for my bombers
States - We should really set up a squadron clan, could be a lot of fun. I also imagine Axe will be playing this game a lot too.
Yea, I don't think Axe gets it until the end of the month, like the French guys
It's a shame you can't earn the same sort of money from a bots only private match.
I'm quite enjoying the online, although there are a couple of people who I will try and make sure I'm on the same side of now to avoid getting pummeled. I still have real problems determining friend from foe, and that will only get worse as people unlock more skins.
Also, I've hit a wall trying to go through the campaign on sim difficulty - bloody Attack on Lexington mission. See my mini-rant here lol.

I was playing Simplified Versus last night and was earning 7000 credits/money for a win. Also repairs have seemed to get cheaper. Dunno what has changed there.
Unlocked all the Spitfires now Just working towards the camos for the IX.
Who is the guy you tend to stay on the same team as? I have clocked a few players like that i stay on the same team as now... if I can!
They need more multiplayer modes, or more maps. That capture the airfield one would be good if they had like 3 airfiends to capture. Im sure they had that in IL*2 though.
I think Axe said his copy has been dispatched and should arrive by this weekend. Fingers crossed for him. I have been sending him screenshots of my planes to rub it in Kinda harsh, but funny!

I was playing campaign, but got stuck trying to get the trophy for the second to last Japanese mission (5 kills in realistic). Man, no wonder they lost - their planes are crap lol.

Weird you should say that... BoPsaw me graduate through the difficulties to simulator, and that's how I started BoS. But getting stuck on one of the Japanese levels made me switch to simplified, and you know what? I really like it. I had more fun playnig that way, with an external camera, so I think I'm going to tackle versus like that and see how I fare. Especially now I have bought my beloved 109-G6 (and nearly up to the Spit Mk IX).
I also tweaked my sim only control set up to give me target select and target camera (which incidentally means I can skip cutscenes again - yay). It's annoying that you can't map sim/non-sim exclusive controls to the same buttons though. I wanted to re-use trim and cancel trim for target select and target camera, but it won't let me, despite the fact you can never use the two functions in the same mode... But I shuffled some stuff around and use a d-pad button as a "shift" key for the face buttons, so can have my cake and eat it

Yeah, they've been getting a lot of stick over the Warpoints, so they made a server side change to make repairs cost less and the reward to be higher. It doesn't sound like a permanent change, but it's good to know they can affect the game like that without a costly patch... Milk it while you can!
Also, did you know that your planes get repaired for free after 6 hours? Handy tip as you log off for the night

A load of guys with "JSG" at the start of their name, along with a couple of other individuals. But if I move from sim to simplified it might not be an issue. Or there will be new names to learn lol.

LMAO I was going to do the exact same thing to you, only couldn't be bothered when I remembered you need to quit the game to attach a screenshot. Hope he gets in the air soon...
