Is anyone else finished with COD once KZ3 is released at the end of the month?

I know I am. I refuse to play a game which is sometimes unplayable online, or one that is hacked and the developers/publishers do nothing to combat it.

It's a shame the map pack for Black Ops is out on March 3rd, because that's 5 days after everything COD-related is gone for me.

I finished with Black Ops about 3 weeks ago when I traded it in for £34 store credit at Gamestation and placing my pre-order for Killzone 3 at the same time.

HELL YEAAAAH! killzone 3 replacing every fps i own its just perfect best fps i have played !!! and also the next CoD (mw3) will be replaced by battlefield 3

No it won't. The same question was posted on this same board, with the same posts back when killzone 2 hit ps3 after modern warfare. I haven't played killzone but I can guess the controls will still feel rigid, and "too realistic" for the masses. It will sell because of the graphics but in no way will it won't replace black ops.

Meh @ Killzone, it's overrated. I bought in the hype that was called Killzone 2, boy did i regret that.

i wouldnt say killzone is overrated.... its under-rated more like especially killzone 3 i love it and so do many other people love the killzone games it feels perfect and actually has better controlls than CoD .. guns arent feathers and its meant to feel weighted your a soilder in armour

It's a personal opinion. The fact that you and others like it doesn't mean that i do. I and many of my friends bought Kz2 on release and it was such a disappointment to find the limitations it had for friends options.

Wrong planning on that behalf.

It took allot of complaints and several months later for it to be fixed. They couldn't handle traffic on their website for god knows how long. Again, wrong planning.

To know surprise a new video was released on their site recently, and lo and behold, the site went down again. Wrong planning.

I've played the public beta (demo) and it was exactly the same as KZ2 just with different maps. Again they had connections problems which even got worse after releasing a patch. 

That to me it is overrated, and a shame that it will stand in the way of other releases that are coming out such as Homefront and Bulletstorm.

Not that homefront will be an amazing fps.......no doubt it will be better than killzone . its a shame no online gameplay of homefront has been seen ?? unless im blind.

Fact is, Brink will have this year best fps game along with BF3. these two games alone will destroy CoD and over rated killzone series. THANK GOD !

I traded MW2 shortly after getting the platinum and realising that getting shelled every 10 to 15 seconds by some sort of aerial perk was possibly the most tedious gaming experiences I've had in a long time.

I didn't even bother buying Black Ops.

I'm looking forward to Killzone 3. I loved 1, 2 and the PSP one. I doubt it will replace Battlefield, but it will provide an enjoyable fresh distraction.

It's not really the same though is it? Killzone 2 was the first title on this generation's hardware, where as the sequel should just be massively polished because they haven't needed to do all the engine foundations. Also Modern Warfare wasn't the hacked-to-hell mess that the franchise is in today.

So a big plus to Killzone and a big negative to Modern Warfare.
