Is Portal 1 from the Orange Box bundle just a shorter version of number 2, or are there many new features where number 1 feels too much of a step back? Havent got my PS3 in use at the mo, so looking at getting Orange Box purely for portal for my laptop.

I really love Portal 2.  Haven't played the first.  The best thing is the humour, both Wheatley and GlaDos are hilarious.  It's also great to whiz through.  It reminds me a bit of Mirror's Edge, where the game, if played well, doesn't take very long to get through.

 

If you buy it, buy it cheap.  I'm renting it and will have done all I can with it by the time I send it back.

I never played it BUT I did watch the entire playthrough on Youtube just to hear Stephen Merchant as Wheatley/
