I've seen practically no love for this game here on the forums so thought i'd bring it to everyone's attention, its a brand new ip from ID software, the creators of the fps genre and it won numerous awards at last years E3.

I only love games that I can put in my console and play! Not ones that take years to make watching videos of them from time to time.

Yea but i guess they didn't really expect the development to take so long, just glad it's coming soon enough

Its id Software were talking about here, their tech savvy and are building RAGE around the awesome id Tech 5 engine which is new as well. They don't churn shovelware out every 12 months Its the same with Valve and their attitude ''its ready when its ready'' come to mind.

I wish more developer adopted this attitude

I'm aware of how much effort they have been putting into the development however the fact is that this game's development started a year before the development of fallout 3 started, its been a long time coming.

Its the same as Doom 3 that was 4-5 years in production. Its just how AAA PC developers are. They take their time, put projects to one side and develop something else or code Rage to run on an iPhone for instance. Doom on a calculator Got to love John Carmack

And as for Fallout 3 look at the buggy mess that was. No thanks I like my games slow baked
