Got the Undead Nightmare pack off PSN yesterday, for fans of the game it's a nice little pick-up but not essential. The game is very bare-bones Red Dead, all the minigames and scavenging are gone and you don't have a tent to pitch camp so when you save you have to find a safehouse. The story isn't connected to the main RDR campaign as several familiar characters die who either survived the game or died in different ways. To understand the story you really need to have played the game up to or beyond when John returns home.

It's a different style of game to the main storyline, the limited features alone may make you feel like it's more of a subtraction than an addition, but nevertheless I'm so far finding it an enjoyable campaign.

Thanks for the little review rcoll. I'm thinking of buying RDR again and having another play through, and might give Undead Nightmare a go too.

When bored of shooting bandits that merely shoot back , I do appreciate a good biting!

Watching diseased flesh eaters running halfway across the map to get to you is sport in itself , If you round them up you can have yourself a flock of undead following you around tearing into anybody else that might be around, Good luck if you run out of ammo though , I wasn't expecting such a frantic mauling that early into the campaign.

This is 100% win in my book, Made me pick Red Dead up again for a jolly good controller bashing.

I like the Undead Nightmare pack.  I finished the game ages ago and have only been back a few times since, this revives it for me.

Enjoying it so far & in some ways it's a bit harder than the standard game, head shots vs standard and using the flaming torch required a different plan of attach.

Hope there's some online as well, my friends are getting it to play.
