i really enjoyed the story mode, but the online part was a nightmare, couldn't get a game for love nor money, probably because no-one bought it.

Good game and enjoyed it alot, finding a lobby with people playing was a bit of a nightmare,but after a few attempts i'd usually get in one with plenty of people there,although trophy wise in multiplayer it does get abit tedious.

Really looking forward to the next installment if there is one, which i'm hopeing there is.

ive been playing Singularity over the weekend, and it is a pretty good game. its not a big blockbuster type games, but for what it is its really fun. a very basic Bioshock/Resistance mixture, with time travel and evil Russians in too!

the only actual problem with online is that theres not too many games going. but the actual gameplay in multiplayer is great. creatures vs soldiers and all 8 characters are balanced well enough against each other too (puke = health lol). once you find a game though its usually alway full and works well. it randomises teams too, so youre not stuck losing all the time

the game also has a check list type stats screen purely for the trophies

I had £61 on a gamestation game after trading in some games and was going to get this.

Asked how much it was cos I couldn't see it on the shelves.

They had 2 copies at £45!!!!

What game has a shelf price of £45 anymore?!?!?!?!? That's one less sale.

I saw it in Asda today for £27

..also saw Lost Planet 2 for £17. If I didn't have a load of half finished games sitting next to the PS3 already, i'd have got both.

Well guy's just finished the game! awsome game realy kept me entertained. shocked I had hardly heard of it. Defo recomend this title to those of you who have not yet played it. just trying to think of what game to play next now.

Singularity is alright, it's derivative and the time travel element is gimmicky. It's not going to win any awards for story, looks or innovation but if spotted on the cheap it'll keep you entertained for 10 hours.

I'm surprised to see it held in such high regard because it's...alright.

aS the guy above said, "its alright" ... but nowt special. The reason its had little publicity is because there is nothing worth shouting about. The game uses a dated engine, the graphics look dated and the storyline is steryotyped. That having been said it does what it does very well. Its nothing like bioshock in my opinion and draws inspiration from games such as . . . half life, Black-site and dark sector. If you like half-life in-particular i think you will enjoy Singularity. its deffo worth playing but probably best rented cos one play-through will probs be enough, as i dont see the multi-player having much appeal.
