War & Shoot 'Em Ups: General

Just downloaded the Sniper Elite V2 demo and encountered quite a few problems. Wondering if anyone had the same:

1. Wouldn't work at all through my surround sound headphones. Gave up and had to use the TV speakers.

2. Sound in game was very echoey, particularly when running around outside. Definitely not right.

3. When going prone my character would sometimes jump up to full standing again. This problem would come and go randomly.

I hope these problems are fixed for the full game. I preordered it and hope I don't have to wait for a load of patched etc.

Anyone else?

2 & 3 i both noticed but over all i really liked it, will be buying it next month when i have some money spare

the ai seems a bit poor but i love the cut scene and the killing implementation, it could get stale fast i read theirs coop but not sure on multiplayer. pre bonus order gets dlc where you can eliminate adolf.if theirs any germans reading this "ve vont mention ze vor"

I found no problems with the demo. Had a lovey 190m headshot.

re talking about it getting stale fast, im so fed up with modern warfare shooters that for me the change of pace back to ww2 is good, i cut my teeth playing ww2 shooters on the ps2 & loved them so i will be orderering this next week

No problems here.

I don't think the echo sound is a ''bug'' its more of a sence of isolation that you are all on your own.

Not a bad game really. Need another play as I had to turn it off last night as it was late and I was too tired to see it through.

It's a fairly short mission, so you should get through it quickly

I do intend buying it. The online sniper only idea intrigues me (as does the campaign). Hopefully the issues I mentioned will be gone by then.
