I've been playing this game for over an hour now, and it's time to put the truth into the rumour.

The graphics on RAGE, on the PS3 are...

1. Razor sharp - I was immediately impressed by the sharp edges, and high resolution of edges.

2. Fast Moving - 60FPS has an awesome effect on this game, it flows like water.

3. Detailed - The textures are mega, litteraly - detail on objects and faces is impressive.

This is without a shadow of a doubt one of the best looking FPS games on PS3 currently, and it's a technical marvel of the current generation to see this level of detail away from a high end gaming PC.

Texture Pop-In...

Texture pops are when the texture goes from low resolution to the high resolution in your immediate area, spend a minute or so looking for it and you'll find it.

The TRUTH of the matter is, you hardly ever see it at all after a minute and it is a minor point that simply does not detract from the game at all.

And, as for it having PS1 graphics, EmptyheadPhil's comments have been revealed for what they are, a load of nonsense - I couldn't believe my eyeballs when I played it, expecting what this troll had reported, and finding a mind blowing depth of field and detail all rocking along at a glitch free framerate.

Somebody ban that other user for disinformation, it's poor and misleading. and is designed to put people off.

Very, very, very impressed with this title's presentation. Loading is not long, and I'm enjoying every minute.

To put this into context, compared to Rage, Battlefield 3 looks distinctively last generation, and slow frame-rated next to this.

I'm glad I didn't succumb to troll-reviews...but I wasn't expecting THIS!

Rent it if you are unsure...as for gameplay, so far so good - just delving a little more into it.

I'll stick with Emptyhead, he knows better because people who have never played it on PS3 usually know their stuff.

I didn't think for one minute it would be a bad looking game.

Good to hear you're enjoying it method, I'm slowly getting off the fence on this one.

Good to hear about the graphics but whats the gameplay like? I dunno whether to get this or not.

I have this on pc on a high end machine and its absolutely gorgeous,razer sharp gfx....when it works,just downloaded the new patch so hopefully this will add some stability

anybody know the price of rage in asda,tesco or sainsburys? i know tesco have a deal with a £50 shop or summin but just looking for the standard retail if anybody knows.
