hi there,
have any of you endwar players got any hints or tips that might help wesker armys win against stronger opposition?
such is my situation atm, im getting beaten alot. thanks if you can help

mods, could we have and endwar sub forum please?

I've got EndWar and love it, but I'm really struggling to win offline on hardcore with EFEC. I think I might have chosen the hardest faction to try it with as EFEC are weak but fast so need to adopt a guerrilla fighting style which I haven't quite mastered. The Russians might prove easier as they are slow but can tank the opposition in a straight fight, and the JSF are halfway between the two.

If you've got specific questions, shoot I'll bookmark this thread and help if I can.

If you want some of the trophies, I posted a few guides on here. And if you want some (unranked) online practise in skirmishes, or to play some ToW ranked, add me. (I'm EFEC in the ToW too).

EDIT: if you have jumped straight online, I would recommend at least doing the prelude to war offline as a tutorial. And when you first go online, in all likelyhood, you will get owned for a bit. The nature of the experience and upgrade system is very punishing toward new players.

You just need to persevere and earn the dribble of money you get from losing. Then you can start buying the 100k upgrades for all your favourite units. Saving up for EMP level 1 is highly recommended too, as you can use that on any map.

Another really important upgrade is "Deepstrike" for your riflemen units. Any level unit can use it, and it can be a game saving ability to have.

thanks for your reply, ive since earned lots of cash, and upgraded all units to regular stuff, its tactics i need. i read the guide, tried the tactics but i always get beat in a straight fight. im using jsf and not keen on switching as it took forever to get here. ill send a buddy invite if you fancy a skirmish, we could tow as well on my other account, because me and my bro play jsf. my units would be weak tho. cheers

Fired this up again last night - I'd forgotten how good it was.

Anyone still play it? Or more specifically know if the Theatre of War is still active? I tried connecting, but don't know if it's down between sessions or taken offline...

To answers the OPs question (from 2 years ago), we did have a Tom Clancey forum for a bit. But that's gone now so just use this thread XD.

I have the game myself but not with me at the moment. Is Theatre of War DLC?

No, the theatre is the main online ranked pvp mode - a persistent world war 3 mode where each day is a turn and the results depend on the number of matches won per faction in each map.
