A quick image search later reveals she indeed warrants that smiley
She looks better as a brunette though, but that's just me...
Err, anyway - on topic: I don't think it'll be Crysis 2 knocking CoD off the top. Not on PS3 anyhow.
COD is probably going to knock itself off the top by releasing too many sequels.
Until it does that, it will remain at the top until another FPS with COD's smooth controls and gameplay comes along and does everything COD does but better.
Shooters soo far apart from a couple have kept with the same. Shooters have for the core been the same for about 10 years or so now.
When the core changes COD will be taken down because it keeps true and true to it.
And i like to point out the "casual appeal" is BS
COD has what all good games have
It learn things one by one
It rewards you
CoD hasn't been decent since CoD4, the ONLY reason for its sales is because it apeals to the wider audience because it's easy to pick up and play.
The money they've put into advertised also helps ofcourse.
As for what will knock it off top as for sales, I really don't know. BF3 will be a far superior game but whether it outsells the piece of generic ***** that is CoD I really don't know.
Battlefield 1942 > Call of Duty: Finest Hour
Battlefield 2 > Call of Duty 2
I can only assume with the drivel that Call of Duty has been on consoles, that Battlefield 3 will un-doubtly be, in soul, the demise of CoD.
The amount of fans the Original Battlefied series had plus the fans that Bad Comapny brought it will oblitare CoD off the market. Atleast It will on PC.
The only Call of Duty that was worth playing was World at War and Moder Warfare. Oh, and the Spec Ops missions on Modern Warfare 2.
CoD has nothing on Battlefield.
Activision will do it to themselves, as i mentioned in my COD thread...
Im actually kind of glad COD is as popular as it is, it just means we have less idiots, annoying kids and hackers playing the other games lol. I would hate for the majority of COD players to switch to Battlefield although im not saying there all bad ofcourse.
