I'm trying to reply to a private message but I keep getting an error of Ambiguous user name. I have a choice of two users to send it to and if I select either I get the same error message again but this time with three users.  Any idea how I stop this?

Please correct the highlighted errors and try again.

If you're sending one to a mod it's usually the top name. Otherwise I suggest you look up the PSN on here. Go into their profile and click on 'Send this user a pm', and also make sure you look at their avatar, as this will appear beside the user name you need to choose.

Yeah I have done that. I even added the right person as a friend and tried sending the message again but still no luck.

I had the same issue reported it a few weeks ago on here fellow forumers confirmed it along with yourself confirming it also and thats it out of my 3 years being on here its one of the weirdest things ive sen bug wise with this forums throughout it's various changes

We are currently fixing the issue with Ambiguous Users, If you come across any users with the issue, drop one of the moderators or myself a private message with the ID and we'll sort it out!
