Remove all advert blocking plug ins or scripts.

Disable option does not work fully in Chrome... only uninstall will disable them completely.

It seams chrome still allow part of the plugins to effect its engine which effects the Scaling script on this site...

Not sure exactly what causes it but, it's because one of the plug-ins/extensions (e.g. Ad Blocker or Facebook Disconnect)  you have installed into chrome is stoping the forums resizing avatars.

Edit :- GraphiteGB you beat me to it.

Believe its purely a Chrome issue, Chrome may be Used by Sony staff as a personal choice on PC but.....

Only Firefox and IE are official Browsers for the forum...which means Nothing HAS to be done about it.

Now that theres a new boss man (community leader) for this forum... And PS Vita choice of a WEB KIT browser.

Hoping that will change as new people like to mess things up... and push the limits of there position and power....LOL

EDIT = Envisager (Had to look up his tag,) Get it Fixed please.

So we can ban all the other adverts on this site as well from our browsers... Please.

Re: Avatars don't resize?

I disabled adblocker for PS Forums, but avatars still don't resize.

Well it finally got the better of me!

I decided to make a chrome extension to resize the avatar images.

If anybody wants a copy PM me your email address and I'll send it.

Things to note about the extension -

  1. This is my first ever chrome extension (so be nice :Scared:)
  2. It only run when using the forums on this URL - http://community.eu.playstation.com/
  3. It doesn't have an Icon ( What! I was too lazy to make one, if some one wants to make one for it I'll add it  )
  4. I've tested it with both AdBlock 2.5.9 and Facebook Disconnect 1.2.1, all seems to be working.

Here are some images to see the difference ( also with the different URLs)

Re: Avatars don't resize?

Should not need the extension any more.

CSS has been altered should no longer effect ad block plus.
