Re: Bad Christmas Day Thanks to a dead PS3

So your Xmas was ruined because of a PS3 that didnt work.

Oh dear.

Yeh it would have been annoying but im sure you can just wait for a few days to get a new one. You have been unlucky, live with it.

Re: Bad Christmas Day Thanks to a dead PS3

Hi,
Thanks for your feedback, Some of you have been really helpful and that's good THANKS, has any one seen any new 60gb PS3 for sale any where in the UK

To the others replys, the one I have is DEAD and has never worked and it is not the OP (user) and yes maybe I should have tested it but with the kids home I did not get the time but thinks for pointing that out big help

Sony has discontinued the 60gb PS3, but I think they are planning to release a 80gb soon with the new dual shock 3 controller like over seas.

Don't quote me on that however it is just a rumour going round in some of the PS3 social networks.

I know that when tried to get a 60gb it was very hard to get one. I do hope the 80gb does have backward compatabilty though, I have recntly found out that my PS3 play's all my broken and scratched discs that wont play on my slim line ps2!!

Sony haven't got it all wrong, the fact is that machine's go faulty. But it could be a lot worse, the xbox 360 have had massivem problems when it comes to faulty hardware.

Generally speaking Sony's stuff is quite relaible, I know a few people who have a ps3 aswell as me and touch wood they have had no problems.

I have heard that a lot of people are having problems with the Wii, not the machine but the nunchuch and wiimote breaking.
