Podcasting is a bit different of course, but if this is what needed to start this thing then why not. I didn't however sense much enthusiasm from big guys But maybe it will change.

I have considered doing a pod cast and one of the best ways of doing it is either Teamspeak or Vertrilo.

Teamspeak is low on bandwidth and wont lag, but vent is superb quality, but suffers from lag spikes occasionally, but for most voice, it's certainly good enough.

This all sounds really cool, I would love to a part of it too. I think that having a live broadcast would be a really good idea if it only aired between certain times but even if loads of people had little segments that lasted for a few minutes, we'd still be stuck looking for someone to be a DJ ALL the time as a lot of people are at school or work. Here's a thought actually how about this ; if the radio show only broadcasted at the weekend but if it had a blog that was frequently updated by a bunch of us on weekdays. I know Tumblr blogs have a feature that allows everyone and anyone to submit posts so we could do that.
