Re: Playstation Plus membership

Hi Guy,

Thanks for all your massages, I have seen that Sony have made some changes but they did not say anything when I took out my subscription last year and it's not even about if the plus is good value for money, it's about how Sony can help them self and then turn around to someone who has been with them from a PS1 many many years ago to a PS3 now and say FU.

MissSouthampton

How have you not run out of HD space ? I did many moons ago :smileyvery-happy:

Best regards

Re: Playstation Plus membership

Hi All,

Thanks for reading my posting, I have been looking at some of the other blogs about subscriptions like and encluding plus set by default to automatically resubscribe and about Sony's under no way are you getting your money back Term of service and the we don't give a F:Frown::Frown:K attitude are not making them any friends and can not be doing much for Sony's sale.

Best regards

Re: Playstation Plus membership

I have just renewed my membership as my membership was never automatically renewed. I don't see your problem, as you can opt out of it, and the benefits of being a plus member are great!
The best feature in my opinion is the online save data storage as I use two different PS3's so I can swap between the two at different addresses.

Re: Playstation Plus membership

It is not even in the fine print, it's in the Q&A:

http://faq.en.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5032/~/does-my-playstation-plus-subscription-r...

Yes, it does. For your convenience, PlayStation Plus automatically renews, but you may terminate this subscription renewal at any time.

Note: When you join PlayStation Plus using a Master Account, Automatic Funding for that Master Account will automatically be set to [On].

So, they're really not secret about it. Also, I KNOW they mentioned this a number of times on the blog when they introduced the service.

So, thanks for the warning, but no reason to call Sony names.

Re: Playstation Plus membership

Price reduction Of PS+ leaked on EU blog. Do not Renew In August for a year if possible. On sept 5th New discount will be offered again. Not 15% off, not the reduced 20% off but a hole 25% off a year again.

Should be only £30 to renew for a year looks like a few users have been cancelling as that offer is back this year.

dont think it was really leaked, it was announced a few days before that there was going to be a 25% discount in September. think its only on for two weeks, but itll be a good time to sign up for sure 8)
