The PS3 will not allow me to sign in using my new PSN account

My trouble is as follows;

When I go to sign in to the PSN it informs me that my password has expired and sends emails to my old email address, this I can no longer access as my email address and sevice provider have changed.

I then created a new PSN account with my current email address and new password etc. which I can successfully access on my PC.

When I try to access my new PSN account with my PS3 a prompt states the I am trying to access someone elses account and terminates the access.

I have managed my account online and I believe I have done everything correctly.

Can anyone help me?

Please use plain text.

Re: The PS3 will not allow me to sign in using my new PSN account

I guess you are trying to sign in over your old account you will have to create a second user then sign in with your new account because the save data and trophies etc are tied to your old account.

Might be worth calling customer services to see if its possible to retrieve your old account and assign a new email to it.
