Can you trade?

I recently bought this game and am really enjoying it, however when I was doing some multiplayer gaming with a friend of mine we couldnt work out how to trade resources.  He needed some three leaf clovers and white flowers to build a job part, I have loads of them and dont need them but we just couldnt find anything that said "trade"

 

Is it actually possible to trade items between players in this game?

The only items you can "give" to other players are consumable items such as heal potions and mana potions.

Oh well, would have been good to trade resources with other people, or maybe even trade weapons and stuff.

 

Hopefully they'll put this into White Knight Chronicles 2
