Hello! I've been playing WipEout 2048 since day 3ish

Unfortunately, since very recently it crashes with this error each time it attempts to sign into PSN. I can cancel signin and play offline with no problem but it dies on its ass each time I let it login. On one occassion this made me have to perform a hard reset.

 Has anyone else suffered this issue? How did you go about resolving it? I don't really fancy starting again as I'm really rather far and I kinda suck at it! D:

Exactly the same error for me, this is becoming very frustrating. Vita has been a great purchase but with this and not being able to add funds to my wallett and I'm feeling like I've made a mistake

I just redownloaded from my PC but it still gives the error gonna try redownloading from the store

Update: I've wiped the whole thing and redownloaded, applied the patch and still have no luck

Okay, I fixed this by waiting till the second please wait sign appeared then cancelled. PSN signed in and my friends appeard to be online. Then I tried again and it worked. It seems the key is timing on that one though...

I would like to add that this sometimes takes a few attempts. It happened again to me and took 3 attempts.

Hi all,

I wanted to give you a quick update. At the weekend I replaced my bthomehub 2 with a Netgear router and wipeout worked immediately.

I had the same problem before and eventually found a permanent solution to this online.

Here's what you need to do:

1. Go to Settings - Network - Wi-Fi settings - your server - Advanced settings

2. Change IP Address Settings from automatic to manual

3. Insert your IP Address with a period and three extra digits at the end (according to your range i.e. 100-199)

4. Insert you Subnet Mask (255.255.255.0), Default Gateway (IP address), and primary DNS (IP address)

5. Leave secondary DNS blank, set Proxy Server to "Do Not Use", and MTU settings to "Automatic"

6. Go to your computer and open an Internet explorer

7. Type your IP address into the address bar

8. Open the advanced settings and go to "Port Forwarding"

9. Insert the IP address you typed with the three extra digits

10. Set TCP and UDP to the range 10060-10080

11. Delete Wipeout 2048 from your PS Vita (which will also delete your progress)

12. Re-download/install Wipeout 2048

I did this fix about a month ago and the game still works. I sent a complaint letter to the Wipeout Team and they never responded. Hopefully this will work for you, too.

I have the same problem for 2 days, but I can't play even offline !
I tried to cancel PSN sign-in with different timing and it crash everytime right before the title screen (just after the intro and memroy card warning).

I can't even play the game when I'm not conencted at all (outside, disconnected wi-fi...) !!

I tried this :
- reboot the vita several times.
- backup my game on my PC and PS3
- delete the game
- Install it again (I have it on card, not on PSN)
- tried the game : works fine (but without my save)
- Update the game with Wi-Fi
- tried the game : works fine (but without my save)
- Restore my backup save
- tried the game : didn't work

I tried the whole backup/delete/install/update/restore several times without success.

I contacted wipeout support on facebook and after several discussion they think it's a memory card or console issue, not the game...

Any help ?
