To make the deal even sweeter…

Pilots who own WipEout HD or WipEout HD Fury on their PS3 are automatically entitled to download the PS Vita versions at no extra charge via Cross-Buy. Vice-versa anyone who purchases the expansions from the PlayStation Store on their PS Vita is entitled to download them at no extra charge on their PS3!

With two full games available to expand a new Pilot’s collection and content for Veterans you’d be wise to get those dates in your diaries and get involved. We look forward to seeing you on the track.

Why doesn't it bring back the old soundtrack?

I think the soundtracks in HD and Pulse were better than the 2048 soundtrack. Why not update the DLCs to include the old soundtrack?

At a guess it's probably because they didn't want to pay the licenses fees for distributing those soundtracks yet again. So not including them enables them to cut costs. Considering it's something that in large part they're distributing to Vita owners for free, then I can understand why they wouldn't want to incurr any additional expense by incorporiating any additional content they need to pay license fees for.

Sounds great! I'm really glad I can fly the stunning Sol II again on the move. However I have the disc version of HD/Fury, how do I exactly "Cross-buy"?

Edit: You can't get the addons for free if you but the HD/Fury game on disc :/ *pouts* Digital only folks...

Afraid so. :smileysad:

Unfortunately, the vast majority of WipEout sales were via download so not much accommodation has been made for those few disk-holders.
