I just found this while trying to find out about the stat tracking in the game, from an old press release, that was cut in a newer press release:

Player Profile and Community Website - Website TBA
Each player will have an extensive game profile that charts their progress and records for all the usual record lap times for races and fastest laps as well as statistics concerning weapons use, ship selections, favorite modes and most played tracks.

Players will be able to connect to the main Wipeout HD website from within the game and receive updates and information, such as records, stats and tips. In addition players can upload their own profile for mass collation of all profile data, allowing the creation of world tables for all statistical data. Find out who is the fastest player in the world on 'Vineta K'; or find out which player in the world has raced the most races in a 'Feisar' ship.

I hope they do get around to it, because I miss the stats you could view on the PSP. And the game is obviously tracking some stats for trophies (i.e. online kills). I really just want to know how many kills I need for the AG Assassin trophy, but I do like browsing numbers now and then. Warhawk is great for this.

The game tells you to go to www.wipeout-game.com for your stats, but there's nothing there relating to HD at all: it's all for Pulse. And if you go to http://www.wipeouthd.com/ it's purely a (very slick) marketing site that doesn't even allow you to login.

Please bring back the stats

It's definately something I'd like to see in the future.

I'd even be happy with a site that just tracks laptimes and records for now
