Something many of you have been waiting for. Patch 1.02 for WipEout 2048 and Patch 2.50 for WipEout HD are being deployed right now, should be available to download within the hour.

 Things to be noted in the announcement:

• Spurious times in leaderboards will be cleared out during regular maintenance. Exploits to get the spurious times have now been fixed.
• You should be able to find a lot more people now (Via online multiplayer)
  
• Patches 1.02 and 2.5 fix all known runtime issues on both games. Stability should be improved.
• Additionally for Vita load times are sped up again.
  
• Cross Play has been added to the PS3 version too!

Unfortunately it's a cumulative patch only at the moment (ie it contains all the previous patches) hence the size. Out of our control at the moment.

We are still working on DLC, there will be an annnouncement soon

Great news! I've updated my Vita and already it's massively better! Can't wait to try the PS3 version!

 i lost my wo2048 online campaign progress. 

About Wipeout HD/Fury: at wipeoutzone.com, the members talking about lost online ranks and crashed leaderboards, and also about changed game physics... ???

Please fix the games and dont destroy it.

The progress issues have supposedly been resolved.

However, I think a more accurate way of describing it would be that they've been repaired. Progress will have been partially restored but I think it's as good as it'll get and most people will need to start again from wherever they are

Cross Play gives a lot of errors for me, I suspect the rooms are simply full though as I managed to end up in a single race against myself and came 5th and 7th xD

I've just discovered that after the 2.50 patch all my online progress has disappeared

What the hell is happened !?!?!?!?!?!

After playing a few hours with the 2.5 patch for WO HD/Fury :

All online rooms show up as US, 2 people had their PS3's freeze (and thereby freezing the game for everyone else until they reset) within an hour, joined one room with no host, one room hosted by "Host<Null>", all races in progress show the "Returning to lobby" message regardless what lap they're actually on, and if you join the room it will say that everyone is on lap 0/5, even when they're on lap 5 (You can tell because the spectate option disappears), leaderboards are updating with new records set after the patch, but ALL records set from last summer until now are still missing, my online rank is reset to 1 (Didn't Studio Liverpool promise to fix that after they screwed it up the first time in the 2.4 patch?) and the game physics have been tweaked just enough to make it impossible to set any new records (most races are at least one second slower than before).
