WipEout 2048: Some things (Devs, please read)

[ Edited ]

Hi,

I'm excited about WipEout 2048, and I'll buy it with my PS Vita (if they arrive together, which I hope). Obviously, I have seen videos of gameplay from E3.

The main problem I saw is... Mag-lock pads (those who stick you in the track for loops or vertical parts of the track) in 2048? They wouldn't arrive until 2202 (according to the game's history), and it looks as if they arrived from nowhere. Also, there are weapons there are not in the original WipEout, barrel rolls, etc...

On balance, you should make a good game (as usual), but with the classic gameplay from the previous games: it's in 2048, so it means you should not use the same "technology" as in WipEout Pulse (I mean technology for weapons, teams, barrels, maglocks, etc).

Yeah, I was thinking the same. I hate how it has the same weapons and feautures from the WipEout HD, I mean, how does that work? The game should be more focused on fast and fun gameplay, because that's what made wipEout good in the first place, isn't it?
