Wipeout HD v1.10

If at any time you have had over 50 users in your friends list whilst playing WipEout® HD, it is possible that your saved data has become corrupted.

If this situation applies to you, we strongly recommend that once this update has installed you quit the game and delete your saved data using the Saved Data Utility in the XMB, then re-launch the game to create a new profile.

Deleting your Saved Data will not affect your collected trophies or online records, but will reset your campaign mode progress, team loyalties, and in-game settings.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you for your support.

ps. Posting this as the community team are at their annual conference!

Re: Wipeout HD v1.10

Well I'm just glad it's finally released so I can re-add some friends again. Hopefully there will be a boost in online activity too.

Re: Wipeout HD v1.10

Is it just me though, but since this update, the time it takes to connect to a race is about twice as long to do???

Anyways love this game online, but i am getting p*ssed off with the amount of games i join, only to be sat in the lobby for ages waiting for the host to start the game. Tonight, about 4 separate times, there was a full list of us waiting for the host to start the game, and it never happened, so we started leaving. What do these guys do seriously. Start a game, get to the lobby, then go for a 10 minute dump???

And why would they need ten minutes to take a dump? I go in there, do the business and get out before I pass out.

Just thought I'd share.

Yeah this really annoys me as well. I don't like hosting and if everyone hosted there would only be games of a few people in each race, but why some people who host just sit there. Even if you only have 5 or 6 people you may as well start because after a few minutes people start to leave. But sitting there with a full race of 8 people. Arrgh! seriously *****?!

Re: Wipeout HD v1.10

I'm up for WipeOut fun nights as long as it's not Phantom class, not that good yet i'm afraid!

I've started hosting games just because i get fed up waiting for other hosts to start when the race is full, i just don't get it...
