Re: Wipeout HD v1.10

I think the v1.10 patch screwed up my game. I had no problems earlier, but now I have audio skipping on zone mode. Every time I reach zone 3 it starts skipping the audio back and forth and when I reach zone 7 it reverts to normal and then when I reach zone 41 the audio skipping kicks in again. Every single time. This is really annoying since the game worked perfectly before the patch. I played through the campaign grid including the zones without any problem at all, but now that I started hunting for trophies it's broken.Or maybe it's not the patch but something else in the game....

I have even tried to reinstalled the game to no avail. Can someone responsible tell Studio Liverpool to fix this please or post an email adress where to send error reports.

I have the european 60GB version with the original harddrive and everyting.

Re: Wipeout HD v1.10

I tested and reinstalled the game again but without the patch and the audio stuttering disappeared. Guess I will play without v1.10 until they fix this problem in the patch. :No-no:

Did/do you have over 50 friends in your list? Studio Liverpool stated that they were unable to fix corrupt save files caused by this bug, and suggested deleting your save file. Your issue sounds like a memory corruption issue, and if your friends list was causing an out of bounds memory write, it would explain the problem your seeing...

Deleting your save file is a sucky solution. It depends whether that is more preferable than the sound issues - you could always just turn music off and thank the gods it didn't corrupt something more severe?

EDIT: maybe check it's not something mentioned in this thread first (i.e. custom soundtrack issues) before deleting saves :smileywink:

Re: Wipeout HD v1.10

No, I don't/didn't have over 50 friends in my list. Far from it. I didn't even have any problems at all with the game either.

I will try to run the game without the saves later on after I have gotten the trophies. Is it possible to install someone else's saved games so I could get back to where I were if the saved games are the problem?

And nothing in that other thread applies to me. Haven't tried without the music but the sounds are vital. This is really sad. Sad sad. :smileysad:

Doesn't anyone have any contact info to Studio Liverpool?

Now I tried to run the game again without any saves but the sound stuttering still was there. C'mon Sony. Please fix the problem. :ScaredPumpkin:
