I've found 348 by myself. I'm considering looking at a map but I think I'll give myself a few more days to look for them.

I got them all by myself.

Basically I collected them as I saw them when on missions and just wondering around.

After I completed the game I had about 15 left.

I went to each island and ran along the coast until I had looped the island pressing the button to show them on my radar every few steps.  This allowed me to find all the shards at the end of wharfs and on rocks, etc.

Then I went to each city block and put a purple waypoint in the middle of that block.  I then search each building until

I completed that block.   Then I moved in a clockwise direction around the island each block at a time, moving my

way point each time.  The way point helps you remember which block you are searching.

After clearing all the islands city blocks I had about 3 shards left.  I found these by running through the parks and along

the length of the rivers. 

This method helped me find all the shards with a pretty small effort and no need to draw maps or anything.

All 350 shards obtained... .. although a brief scare when I got to 347 shards and could only see 2 left on the map to cross off... along the way I must have missed the one on the broken bridge on the Historical District...

So it is definately the most fail proof way of getting them all.. but I wouldn't do it on my first playthrough, as it would suck a lot of fun out of it all... .. At the end of the day, I just couldn't be bothered wasting potentially hours of exploration L3 clicking to get the final half a dozen or so on my first playthrough...

Lol. On my map, I've only got 3 shards to get, but I'm missing about 5 all up I'm actually thinking of just starting over  

On my evil playthrough, I only just finished the first island and I only picked up 3/4 shards, so I'm considering printing out a new map and doing it island by island. I dunno. I despite it being the holidays, I don't really have the energy to do either

im stuck on 348 shards i know where the 349 is its on the last island up on the high smoke stall things but i cant f***ing get it! if u know the one im talking bout and u have some advice let me know!!!!

You have to reach it from another building... either cable or via a rooftop... and fly to get it... you can't climb the chimney

Ok, got the last shard I only had 2 to find and three locations on the map that I hadn't scrubbed off. Now to just get the AC/DC trophy and the Hotfoot trophy (I have a few more, but these are the two I'm concentrating on atm), on my first playthrough, I swear it glitched and didn't give me the trophies. I know I had drained enough power and ridden the rails for long enough but it didn't give me the trophies so I've resorted to just continuously going around on the rails until I get my Hotfoot trophy. Dunno how long that will take.

14/21 stunts done on this run too, dunno which ones I have left but it shouldn't be too hard to complete seeing as I'm not going to do any of the side missions until I finish the story game.

Good or Evil? .... I have 17 stunts done on my evil run.. and if I can I'll try and get 21 on both games... but I dread a couple of them on evil... sticking a grenade after a shockwave for one... the grenades just don't stick..

Well I got the "Get off my coud" trophy and the evil hospital one (won't give the spoilers away, athough the trophy gave me a lil' giggle). Besides collecting every shard, grinding the rails for 25km and ye' old Casey Jones, I just have to beat another 12 missions .

Evil. Lol, I'm also dreading a few of the ones I have to do,sticking a grenade after a shockwave, thunder storm after shock wave and the Crowd control one. I did most of them on my good run, but then I finished the game and I got stuck on a few. 

If worse comes to worse, I'll just start a third game, go good and keep going until I get them all -_-
