How would you think inFamous 3 would begin?(SPOILERS)

In my opinion I think the game should begin off of the good ending of inFamous 2 when Cole's coffin get struck by lightning, when that happens Cole gets revived and so do all the other conduits who died from the RFI. The reason why I think this could happen in inFamous 3 is that in Wolfe's final dead drop he said he hoped that the RFI will work, which means that it could of been defective. So let's say some person found the RFI some time after Cole used it and he tried to mess with it, later he realizes he can't do anything with it so he breaks it, after that the RFI explodes and releases all of the conduit's abilities it absorbed and sends them back to their owners. So that means that Cole is back and so is the Beast. The only plot hole I can see in this is what would happen to the plague? Post your other ideas here too!

I think it should start with the good ending. Cole's coffin gets struck by lightning, reviving him. When the government finds out that the most powerful conduit has been revived, they begin to persue him. Cole could flee America to another country like england where he discovers a plot to recreate the ray sphere.

I'm basing this off of my thoughts that maybe the RFI's power wasn't strong enough to kill The Beast AND all the conduits in the world. This could prove why Cole's coffin was stricken with a lightning bolt at the end of the Good Karma ending.

I think a mixture of the two. Cole tries uses the RFI to kill The Beast, ultimately killing himself and all other conduits.  The lightning strike to Cole's coffin is the last lingering bit of the power of the Beast, The Beast uses this blast to revive and transfer his power into Cole.Sending him a warning, that even though he chose wrong he will have to live with the burden of saving the  weaken conduits he so easily tried to kill.  Will Cole save the conduits or will he finish off a dying breed of superhumans?

.........................................................................

Either way, I think inFamous 3 will be epic. Cole be revived and brought back to face the terror at Empire City would be cool, that could lead to Cole being hunted by different forms of the government or possibly the NSA. OR Cole becoming the Beast and leader of the Conduits taking on the decaying world of humanity, will he be able to finishing what the Beast started?

We don't know at the moment, the only thing they have told us is they will if they get good ideas.

[ Edited ]

Personally, I think they've really finished this Cole's story arc, saying that one ending is canon and the other is not, is like saying the same thing for Infamous 1, my thoughts are that "Kessler" Cole will be the main character, running from/fighting the beast on his path to eventually gaining the power to travel through time and right all his wrongs (or wrong all his rights, depending on your karma) it keeps Cole as the main character so you don't completely alienate the fans, while allowing SP to tone down your power level, and not pick one ending from I2 over the other.

PS just reread my post. that is the single longest run-on sentence ever. And I'm not changing it. O.o

Re: How would you think inFamous 3 would begin?(SPOILERS)

Well playing as Kessler would be interesting, just as long as you don't have to go through all the experiments, handling new recruits, etc. And I noticed that at the evil ending of Infamous Cole says he doesn't care about fighting the Beast, so  I think Sucker Punch kinda already chose one ending over the other, otherwise they could have made the option to stay in the boat and leave.

I also wanted to continue on about what I was saying in my first post. After Cole and all other conduits get revived (the ones that died by the RFI) Cole sees the Beast standing up and he is furious at Cole for not agreeing with his plan. He chases you through the water while Zeke drives the boat and you fend him off until he passes out or something you also pass out because of the amount of energy you used. Zeke eventually brings the boat to a town so he can refuel. While they are there they here people gossiping that someone found a piece of technology and that was what caused the conduits to come back. Then someone in the crowd says he has a picture of it and Zeke and Cole look at it. In the picture it shows the RFI smashed to pieces. After that I can't think of what happens maybe Cole and Zeke decide to go to Empire City to look for remains of First Sons technology (to make Cole stronger). But probably playing as Kessler would be more likely though.

Re: How would you think inFamous 3 would begin?(SPOILERS)

I'm Portuguese so sorry for spelling errors.

At the beginning of the game to decide whether to continue the end of:

GOOD- *50 years later * A conductor was trapped in a kind of machine spherical *powers condenser * (fueled by a core explosion) which focused its electrical power. This machine was buried beneath the ice in Antarctica. This protected him of the inhibitor ball lightning and he kept his powers. Due to global warming melted the ice machine and is very close to the surface. A snowmobile passes over the machine and the ice breaks. exposed to electricity estactic the machine is short circuit and absorbs the power of snowmobiling and vital energy of the driver. The powers condenser bursts and the conductor returns to life with full powers.
A bolt hit him and he gets the memories of Cole.
He was buried for hundreds of years and has an almost infinite pure energy within you. He chooses between: the energy release and agree dezens buried conductors throughout the world in power condenser, two for each power, and try to dominate the world, or contain the energy and slowly losing power and strength (because the pure energy deteriorate ) and try to defeat a tyrant who rules the world, except for areas dominated by rebels. He has to escape from the Antarctic and fight the tyrant alone to free the world, or fight against the rebels and the dictator, with the help of dozens of conductors.

BAD-*during the conquest of the world by conducters * Cole must continue with the invasion and slaughter all the humans, giving powers to conductors During the game will be overrunning towns and army of conductors is increased. Since there is only one city in the world where they hide a few thousand people, with what remains of their weapons, food supply anda core explosion that hid from the conductors and that Cole needs to survive. They also have a device that allows the universal TRANSFER Cole receives the powers of all conductors in the world, however they will die if he does.
So he has to choose between: the conductors cheat and become the only survivor in the world, or give them the cores of explosion and die.
