It just feels way too quiet. The city needs some more noise and people doing stuff. What I think the game needs is:
Audio option to turn up ambient noise volume.
Break dancer, magician and puppet street performers
Dudes fishing by the docks and water
Boats moving around in the water.
Parties in random buildings with really loud music at night.
big lines of people going into night clubs.
I know its a bit too late to add these now that the game is already out but it wouldn't hurt to add these down the line. Also, feel free to add anything to the list.

I just thought of something new, you know how when you run into someone you knock them down. Well imagine people walking around with boxes and when you knock them down they will drop everything and theyu will have to pick everything back up. That would be hilarious to watch.![]()

Not at all. I usually get sidetracked for long periods of time just exploring the city. It took me over a week to complete my first playthrough because of all the little distractions. It's a much more lively place than Empire City.

Rockstar has spoiled us all when it comes to open-world games. InFamous I think is more focused on gameplay, which I prefer. It certainly makes up for any small, stale environment.

Don't give Rockstar too much credit. While some games like Red Dead Redemption have a really rich random encounter setup, LA Noire is just dead. If you haven't played LA Noire, let me spoil it for you. There is no point it driving around LA.
