I've had this happen to me a few times where a mission locks up and you are unnable to progress any further.  To all who may encounter this problem, the only way to fix it is either reset the playstation or pause the game and abandon the mission.

Have you tried killing cole to see if that fixes it? As most people have found on the last mission on the evil playthrough it messes up. But if they kill cole it sorts it's self out
