I’m a disabled gamer and I’m having issues enjoying this game due to its requirements of moving the controller around to perform some actions. I’ve love all of Quantic Dreams games and I’ve dealt with the motion control actions in all of them, since they were not many. But Detroit requires motion control frequently throughout the entire game. In this day an age it’s really unacceptable and unfair to gamers with disabilities to not have the option to turn motion required actions off. God Of War surprisingly has that option to not require button mashing. If it didn’t I probably wouldn’t have been able to play that. I can still find ways to enjoy Detroit and luckily I have someone willing to handle those motion required actions for me when it gets too much, but I can only imagine how hard it must be for those in worst condition. They wouldn’t be able to play it at all. I’ve reached out to the developer to see if they can update a patch to put in that option but I’ve received no response. I really hope something is done.
Have you tried easy mode?
I somehow can’t get my controller to register all of the motions so using one of the easier modes works and you
still get the same game experience
I decided to make this part of the "movie mode" I recommended. go look at the forums, and you'll see it.
