Eyepet won't eat

The Eyepet is fairly new and we hadn't played in about a week but now that we are starting back up we are trying to feed her but she doesn't actually eat.  We only have the first cookie available to us.  She keeps going after a cookie but then she just shakes her head.  Any tips?

Take the head gear off by going to style section. It can deflect food from its mouth.

Black screen on PC remote play showing up as windows GPU driver miss match, visit Intell, AMD, Nvidia to change your driver, downgrade of GPU driver may be required. Java script failure in remote play at login is IE render engine setting in IE security set to off... turn it on...

We had problems feeding...the pet was trying to pick up food and was making crunching and chewing motions but not eating! It was very hungry! We found turning the lighting up in the room helped. It was a dull day and the natural lighting was not great. Also same issue in the evening and found one extra room light on really helped alot!
