Sa date de sortie en Europe est fixée pour le 15 février 2008. D'apres les tests des versions US (deja dispo.) c'est une petite bombe sur PS3.
Epic Games a fait un excellent boulot, et on voit que le jeu a été entièrement optimisé sur la console de Sony. Graphismes superbes (le moteur Unreal Engine est encore mieux exploité que sur Gears of War), Fluidité au top (60fps), Gameplay au pad ou avec le combo clavier/sourie (parait qu'il y a un peu de latence à la sourie), les mods PC compatibles et gratuits sur PS3 (maps crées par les joueurs etc) bref une bombe pour les amateurs du genre.
Test IGN.com : 9/10 "If you've never played Unreal Tournament before, this is a must-own game on PS3. It's still the most frantic, engrossingly intense first-person shooter formula out there and even after eight years still proves to be wildly entertaining. It certainly helps that Epic has done a terrific job of making this game run on PS3, as well as provide tons of tweaking extras like server filters, customization options, and input alternatives that you typically don't see in a console game. The interface for accessing all these options and browsing servers may be a little clunky, but that hardly diminishes the unique brand of gameplay UT offers."
Eurogamers : 9/10 "The fact we both do, and the PS3 version is as it should be, ought to give the console the boost Sony and Epic obviously wanted when their lawyers and money-men stripped off together, and while it's too late to get one in for Christmas, this would make a superb New Year's import. So whether you ultimately think it's an eight or a nine, the important point is that it's one of them for the people here who've played it, and either's a big, big recommendation."
Gaming Console : 9.5/10 "But Epic comes through with a full ball's out, fast-as-hell kick ass, in-your-face First-Person Shooter that is sure to please every Playstation 3 owner. Listen up Playstation 3 fanboys, this is your Halo 3. If you own a Playstation 3 system you need to own this game. If you want to play a first-person shooter done right, play Unreal Tournament III. This is how it should be done."
