GT Sport - Lost Progress

Hi,

Where do I report bugs and issues with GT Sport?

My driving school 'missions' have suddenly gone back in time. It does still show me as first compared to my friends, with a time that should have given me gold, yet I have no medal...

This is seriously an annoying issue!

I had the same issue but not about the driving school missions, actually i lost all the lvls i grunded yesterday, which is really hurts more than squeezing my balls sack .

Yep. I lost stage 6-8 (30 lap endurance) and then stage 7-1 to 7-7 ... needless to say I am ***** off. Then on the next day to get 6-8 back I lost twice on the last lap been nipped from behind and turned around - both having a nice lead of 20 seconds but getting out of the grass back on track the red ferrari got passed me.

Same issue. . . I went back from level 24 to level 10!!!
and I've been online the entire time I've been playing!!

Same here - was doing school and got from 1st lesson to 55 or something and few missions and then, when the game froze when loading an event I had to close it and when I got back my level an all the progress was as before I had started. I was online at all times and after every event there was "Online saving" on screen..

Any way to get it back?

Doesn't appear to be a widespread issue thankfully. But obviously frustrating to anyone that it has happened to. Nevertheless, I've reported it to the support team, to be investigated further.

Considering this is happening since at least August with posts and descriptions on the forums and in cases eating 7-9 months of progression, I think it's widespread enough. There are tons of games out there with online savegame management, and many get it done, but GT Sports acts up worse than Lego Worlds - for sure not what a professionally done game should let happen.

The problem with this is nobody has been able to recreate what's causing the issue. So it's difficult to permanently fix something if don't know why it's happening.

It's probably more than 1 problem. Dogs can have fleas and lice....

I have seen PDI mention before updates to Save before quitting the game.

Maybe that will help increase the reliability.

Same, I have the trophy for completing driving school but the game took me back 12 missions in the Driving School.

I did in August already when I lost 7-8 months of progression and considering the wave of "progression lost" posts we see now it's safe to assume that nothing happened....

Hi. I'm in need of some help on gt sport. As of yesterday all of my cars (90+) are no longer in my garage. All my progress and money is still there.Does anybody know how I go about getting them back. I've wiped my system game save and re downloaded from online server but they are still missing. It seems I've been grand theft auto'd and I'm not happy. Any idea's guys/girls ? Thanks

Restore a copy of your local save files (if you have one).

I was on a mission last night, as my wheel is out of action and en Route to France to be fixed... I took the opportunity to don my Catsuit (looked sexy as hell) and do a bit of prowling, came across a Garage full of cars...   Well, they were Gone in Sixty Seconds...  My Garage looks so sweet now...

Joking aside..

This is the trouble with Online Saves....   I'm not exactly sure what is saved to where any longer..  The Online Save is probably Game Progress, which one would think covers that Garage.   The Save on the System could be the basic Settings from the Menus.   I would have to check, it's probably explained somewhere.   Gran-Turismo.com 

Thats a sad day when your Garage has been emptied.   Try the Save from the System, if no joy...  contact PD.
