Can we PLEASE get a fix for the random kicking of players from the daily races?
Right after match making and showing qualifying order, players are getting kicked from the race. I see it in videos posted on YouTube too, so I know it is not just me.
Then w you have to wait up to 30 minutes for the next race to start. It’s REALLY annoying an usually just makes mine give up on daily races.
Its happened to me 4 times this morning driving me nuts.
You are not alone it's a huge pain in the neck
I've just posted a new thread about this ridiculous glitch
Has anybody got any SOLUTION to this?
Saw SuperGT on youtube talk about this...
if you head back to the main screen and shut down Gtsport then start it again it works...
Also don't watch any replays in between races .
Worked for me..@ruggedfromrugby
More than 2 months since the last post and it is still happening!!! Any fix?
Annoying. I wait half an hour for a race and then I get kicked out of the starter list to sport mode main screen. Today two times in a row. What a f***ing waste of time!
Try putting your PS4 into your router's DMZ to open up your connection to the game server's, hopefully this will prevent or reduce getting kicked from the server's.
This makes it worse lol. Its server problems. Eg someone has a vm 200mpbs then next player has 350mbps then another has 50mbps etc. To many connection speeds and poor servers not untilised to support all?@mont348
If it was a server problem this six month old topic would have considerably more views.
Online gaming requires very little bandwidth 3.5Mbps down and 1Mbps should surfice but more speed would be required if you were hosting, so the variations of speed you quoted will have no impact whatsoever.
If you are with VM commiserations they are the worst UK ISP for gaming regardless what platform you are gaming on, so bad they have their own dedicated forum for gaming support unlike any other UK ISP. Gaming with VM can be improved if you modem mode the Superhub and use your own router.
Thanks for your reply. Virgin hub3 is awlful as intels puma chip is defective. Intel have admitted and taken the blame for it. I now hardwire mine and had no problems. The issue arise on wifi, which is that awlful puma intel chip. Just add a priorty port via ethernet and problem goes away. Sony have admitted now its a problem from the gt sport servers. Last night only ten people made it into a race out of sixteen. As sony have said its a connectivity from the gt sport servers it should be fixed fairly soon. Non of the issues are virgin media fault, its intels fault as other isps have same problems :(
I know the Superhub 3 is the worst of them all due to the unfixable Puma 6 chipset, regardless of that Superhub 3 and it's predecessors are awful at routing gaming traffic, which is why many will put the Superhub in modem and use their own router.@racing-t-gt
Virgin Media should use asus instead, all problems will then be fixed. I never want to see a intel puma chip in virgin medias hubs again, intel knew it was faulty before it was released. They should be sued and forced to payout compensation and make them cover costs for contracts and hubs. Instead virgin media still not dealing with them in a manner of defense. If only i was virgin medias chief lol@mont348
Yes soon, its a fault from gt sports servers as sony have contacted me. If your using wifi that makes it worse, ethernet from your hub into ps4 and make new connection. Helps connect easier.
