Gran turismo sport Playing GT league race 2 in gr1 endurance at Le Mans. After first pit stop AI just slow right down to a crawl for remainder of race. Is this a known bug?
The AI slowing is in all endurance races. It can very to when they slow down depending on which car is the rabbit and where it is in the field.
It isn't a bug, it's because the front cars start so far in front which gives them a free pit stop, so it's more to do with PD's inability to design races.
Never had that before! Every week i do a endurance race and the AI is never slowing down like this after the latest uodate.@Sjc-alpha
I agree, it does seem to have changed a little bit.
I normally do the Gr 3 endurance races, done over 60 of each, the rabbit is normally the blue M6 if it is in the race. If it starts in front it rockets away, further back it quickly goes through the field. It will slow down mid race to the extent you can have around a pit stop of a lead, near the end it goes flat out, sometimes getting fastest lap.
So the rabbit does a fast slow fast, some of the others do slow fast slow is how I found the AI works. But the AI have to slow down because of how far in front they start.
The Huracain normally funs on medium tyres and if that starts in front you'll clearly see the fast slow fast technique.
The problem now is with the latest update they cant refuel themselfs! They go to the pit and fuel for 1 or 2 liters en the get back ln the track! Maby do you or somebody else a fun setting for a endurance race with a little bit difficultu??@Sjc-alpha
My settings vary depending on the car, I've used them all so far as I like the difference with fuel usage of each car, fuel map 6 can be 10 to 15 laps depending on car.
I have noticed that the AI don't always change tyres and do fuel at same time. The GT by Citroen normally uses soft tyres and changes often but you'll see the fuel doesn't change, so even though it's fast it pits about four times a race, therefore helping to remove the time advantage it starts with.
I tried a custom race, GR.3 at Le Mans the same problem was on there as well as the GR.1 endurance races. Fuji endurance GR.3 is fine though@kaasbroodje89
I guess it may be a bug as well brought by the 1.28 update. I've experienced it too in the arcade mode custom races. The AI crawl back because they can't refuel themselfs... I hope PD will correct this in the 1.29 patch in the begginingof October

Actually in races by time frame (60 mins, 24h, etc.) the AI cannot calculate the fuel properly. You can easily see that with entering the pits when there's about 3 mins left: the diamond marker which in races counting lapwise usually indicates the amount of fuel one needs to finish always shows up on the end (full refuel). This has been a problem right from the start.
I have also experienced this bug. I have done the 60min enduro many times with no problem. Since last week, I have done two races and the AI has failed to refuel correctly since.
hopefully they will fix ASAP as it renders the race tedious to say the least.
Ive got the same problem! When I do a endurance race with friends and the AI does a pit for fueling but they just fuel 1 or 2 liters or something! After that the cars just slow down! I hope this problem is fixed before october 27 becease me and my friends wanna do a 24h race!
I noticed this too, glad to see others have as well... is there no in-game bug report function?
Did a 30 min race on Red Bull Ring and the AI drivers only fueled up to 1%... meaning they didn't even make it to corner 2 before puttering out. This turned an otherwise terrific GR3 race into 2 or 3 laps of me quickly passing fodder cars at the end of the race.
Hopefully PD is aware of the issue...
Yeah it's a bug if you look at the positions at the left the won't refuel only for 1% and that's why they go so. Slow even after q pitstop

Please don't quote me on this. But it should be fixed next update. Which is due to hit some time this month.
But i was hoping that the update for fixing this particular problem comes quicker than the monthly update!
Seems to only be the timed endurance races, I did the 30 lap Gr.3 Fuji race no problem.
Question with the fuel.
I have noticed that the number of laps I can drive for the fuel I have doesn't change when I alter the fuel map.
Is this normal ?
I have to mentally adjust to the fuel usage per lap, it might say I have 10 laps but I'll only do 8 on max power, so does the laps I can do not alter but to show what I can do if I lean the fuel ?
I hope they get this fixed soon. I used to like doing endurance races until they put this bug in. AI slows to a crawl after the first pit stop. Doesn't matter what class of cars or track. Before the last update, I would do a 3 hour endurance race every weekend with the AI set on professional difficulty, and it would be a fun challenge. Now, what's the point? It's like racing against Honda Civics in a Bugatti Veyron...
