The penalty judgement algorithm for car collision during the online races of 'Gran Turismo Sport' will be updated to new rules following the scheduled maintenance planned for Wednesday 11 July.
The details of the update are as follow:
・ 'Sport' mode (including Daily Races) and Lobby.
・ Players with Driver Rating (DR) 'A' or higher will no longer be judged under stricter collision criteria, but will be judged under the same criteria as for players with DR ratings lower than 'A';
・ Light contacts between cars will no longer result in penalties;
・ The amount of seconds issued for a Time Penalty will be lowered.
Thank you for your continued support and please continue to enjoy Gran Turismo Sport!

And it took only 3 months… I hope you've tuned up well.
The new penalty algorithm is totally ridiculous. I've been side-slammed by a slipped car with no other cars around me but I'm the one getting the 10s penalty. You better do a good job!
can only be playing with me I was disqualified without having given a single touch to any pilot. in the middle of the second lap I was already receiving a warning, on the fourth lap I make an overtaking to the driver who was at first I did not touch him and then I am disqualified. I think this is already going beyond all limits. besides the money that you have to pay to play online all these crap happen? this is inadmissible. it was good that somebody did something and listened to all the people who are complaining about what is happening. or else give back the money to people who bought this crap game with the label "racing simulator"
