Hello All.

 

I just bought a new PSN Voucher for a 365 day subscription for PS Plus.

 

It was the first time I'd used one. I made the mistake of trying to peel off the little black thing that covers the code on the card, instead of scratching it off ( couldn't see any instructions anywhere on the box or card ). 

Of course now, some of the letters an numbers are unreadable, so I haven't been able to redeem the voucher.

 

If I take it back to the store, I suspect they won't believe me. I assume there is a code on the card which can be checked? 

Who can I get in touch with? 

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am hard of hearing, so an email address rather than a phone number would be better for me.

yes I did. The staff were very helpful, and helped me through it.

I had to give them the other code on the card, not the scratch-bit. 

I also had to send them the last two transactions on my account, to verify who I was. 

I sent them a pic via my email, of the damaged card. 

 

They then emailed me a new code, and I got my vouvcher's worth!

 

Give them a try.

I didn't phone them, it was all done via email, so it took a few days.

You can email PlayStation Support by clicking here to get the list of numbers and addresses. Once you've got the one for your region you can open your email application to send it from your PS3. Most email web applications work on the PS3 though some can be a bit slow.


 Gmail works fine, but you will likely need to use the email account associated with your PSN ID.

Hey guys

I bought a ps plus gift card for 12 months and when i opened it 2 of the 12 numbers arent clear when i tried to right them correctly on ps store an error has been occured because my limit of trying has been excided so plzz help what should i do i paid 60$ i dont want to lose them for nothing

You will need to contact Sony Support for your Region to discuss that little problem.

 

When you Telephone them,  have all the information at hand...

 

What the Code is for

Where it was purchased

When it was purchased

The Code itself

The Activation Code if you have one.. on till Receipt normally.

Your PSN ID

etc  etc

 

They can check the Code and possible Redeem it for you.

 

As it's a 3rd Party Sale (you did not buy it from PS Store)..  they cannot replace the Code..  they can only try to get it to work.

Hello. I bought a psn voucher worth £20 for 3 month membership. The last time i got one of these you had to scratch them to get the code, i checked for any instructions before i scratched the code and there was none. Half way through i realised you had to peel the black label off. Obviously now that i can only see half of the code i cant complete the redeem code or complete it. If i took it back to the store i am guessing they wouldnt believe me, i hope that i can be helped in this situation and im assuming there is some information i can give to help recieve the code. Any help would be very useful and appreciated any. I wouldprefer to be emailed. Thanks diarmuid.

Well, this is a bit awkward, did you not read the last Post here??   The one above yours....  actually one of my Posts.....   

 

 

You can certainly try back at the Store first...  Codes like this are 3rd Party Sales, so going back to the purchasing point is your first step.   If they send you away without resolution, then Contact Sony Customer Support with all the details concerning the Code.   They have no obligation to replace a Code, but they can try and get that Code entered into their Redeem System.

 

Follow the advice from the Post above yours.

Unfortunately the Code is not valid for the Xboner either, and the Orbital Sander sounds like it's faulty...    Should take it back for a Refund...  there is no way that it should destroy a Silver Strip on a piece of card.

 

You may need Medical care for the hand....   

 

 

In the future...   use the right tool for the Job....  

ALWAYS USE YOUR NON-RUBBING HAND AS IT HAS LESS POWER THAN YOUR HAND THAT YOU USUALLY USE TO RUB THINGS.
