Still doesn’t help fix error code np-40831-6 though huh? Seems like you guys don’t care about the people who spend their money on your products to then not be able to use them. I’ve spent hundreds on games and I’m unable to log in and play them due to an error code that you guys have no idea what it means or how how to fix it. Big fat LOL I’ve tried to log in on phones, other PS4’s and at several different friends house using different internet providers. Same error code every time. 2 months now wow!!
That's not an error code caused by Sony it is solely to do with your Internet connection either ISP or network equipment.
Unsurprisingly the majority of users with this error are using mobile Internet services such as T mobile.@Lukaboii2
How is that possible if I try log in on my other accounts it’s fine but that account I can’t log in to ? Also trying to log in on friends PS4’s using different isp and equipment? With the same error? Makes zero sense.
If that's the case there's a server fault affecting your account which will require a phone call to customer support for them to investigate.

I can connect to internet but I cant connect to the PS game server. My new PS4 cuh-7202 cant connect using wifi, but it can connected using cable. While my older PS4 cuh-7102 can connect using both the wifi and cable. So it shouldnt be my router and ISP problem? Tried every methods from the internet (changing DPN, adding ports.....etc ) but just wont work. Start thinking is that the problem of the new cuh-7202 PS4?
I'm beginning to think the same. Mine has issues solely with the 5ghz connection while all the devices work. The 5ghz is separated from the 2,4ghz connection, so that's not it. I always use an ethernet cable for more stability, but i would like that my wifi is working aswell through the 5ghz connection.
Thankfully i'm not alone with this issue but i don't know what do. Is it on Sony for bad hardware? Is it because of the latest software update? I really don't know. I've tried everything on the ps4 and my router but nothing works.@gameshomeA1
Yes, my new PS4 cuh-7202b can connect to the 2.4ghz but just not the 5ghz wifi. And my cuh-7102b has no problems at all with the same router and network....=(
I was thinking to refund or not because i bought 4 black friday bundles for my business... just hope that they will fix them....@steel48
I got a new ps4 and when I connect to xfinitywifi it doesn't give me the option to enter a password I am not at home using my ps4 so I can't use the wsp button to connect is there any other options

Every time I turn my new PS4 pro on I get the error message ‘ NW-35959-1 ‘ In the top left corner of my screen.
After 3-30 minutes (average amount of time every time this happens) I am kicked out of the party I am in and the connection on my PS4 goes off.
To make it turn back (Internet connection) on I have to wait 5 minutes or test internet connection for it to come back on.
at 9pm every night my PS4 loses network connection and 10pm on weekends I know this is probably something I have done earlier when I set up my account but for the life of me I cannot undo this, I gave checked all the settings but I cannot find it. Can anyone help
I have used this so much in so many different variations to be able to get through to someone as I’m not phoning up again!
The issue I have is that my IP is being blocked on your end but this was a mistake I was told when I phoned up and they would rectify it for me... I figured I would go ahead and buy PS Plus again if it’s getting sorted and I have once more purchased PS Plus but still I have no luck signing into PSN because you guys are blocking my IP.
I was told I would be emailed a reference and update on this which I haven’t been and as I say I am not willing to keep phoning up.
