Hello. My younger brother recently bought PS+ (1st January). (We regularly swap between buying it) Yet, everytime I try to use the online features of games such as GTA 5 and Battlefield 4, it says that I need play station + to use this feature. However, when I run Destiny, it works absolutely fine and I can interact with other online players no problem. I seriously have no idea what's wrong with it. Just to re-iterate, PS+ was purchased on a separate local account and the ps4 I'm currently using is that accounts primary ps4. Please get back to me asap!
Its doing that exact thing to me ad well, and we actually have two users on the ps4 with PS+... I do not know why it all of as sudden won't let me use the online features! It just started yesterday at around maybe 7?:and it keeps saying I'm don't have PS+ ....but it isn't working when I play pvz garden warfare, nor destiny! I also need help :(
Mine either for some reason i cant play online because the ps plus add pops up an i have my ps plus acc activated as primary so i should be able to play on every other account ...?right ?
Just a couple minutes ago I posted a thread about the same situation. For almost two hours I have been trying to solve this problem by activating and deavtivating my accounts continuously, redownloading licenses and many other even useless things which didn't even sound like they would work. I'm starting to wonder if Playstation made an update where they disabled sharing PsPlus on different accounts on the same system, which would really annoy me if it was true.
PS+ was purchased on a separate user account for me, too. Bought a year subscription on Black Friday on a PS4 account, but carried a PS3 user to the console (primary PS4) and was able to play destiny online fine for months. Got on today with error messages telling me to purchase PS+ and can't access online features. Don't know what the problem is.
I am having the same problem, I have a PS4 with one master account that shares Playstation Plus with two sub accounts and suddenly ps plus on the sub accounts isn't working. I tried reactivating that PS4 as the main system on the master account, still no luck. I was forced into using a two day trial of ps plus in order to play online. Hopefully this gets resolved before my trial expires.
As this is an old thread, I'm sure you guys found a solution by now, but I run into the same problem last night and couldn't find any threads that had a solution. I fixed this by restoring the licenses on the master account. Restoring on the account that originally paid for the PS+ did the trick for me. On the master account, go to Settings, PlayStation Network/Account Management, Restore Licenses, Restore. Hope this helps. Happy gaming!
hi i went onto the PlayStation store and found doom n the new colossus as a bundle deal but it says its unavailable to because i already own the new colossus but all have is the open beta which is hardley a hole game how can i fix this thanks
I'm having the exact same problem. My dad just bought a full-year subscription of PS Plus for me, and it won't go through and it says that I don't have it. It is getting annoying and I have no idea why it is happening. I just want to get some good deals and play Battlefield 1 online!
