That's exactly what happens to me everytime I play Motorstorm, my parents are fine with it too yet Sony isn't.
Anyone know how to do that?
As far as I know there is no way to do it.
Have you checked account managemement and tried through there?
Yes. Didn't work. The 'date of birth' section is replaced with the 'member since' message.
Horrible work from Sony.@fski
Anyone know how to do that?
I entered my sons birth date , which was the real one.The problem now is that he can not play Motor Storm online .I will decide what games he can play . That is not up to anyone else.
Since he had played a lot before that and therefore had unlocked many vehicles , those will be lost if I create a new user with new birth date.
Seems only possible changes that be done on sub accounts are chatsand money spending each month.
they are in no way stopping you from letting your child playing or even watching titles offline that you choose to let them play or watch...
but due to the fact your child is playing online, within Sony's PSN it is upto Sony to make it as safe as possible for the age group of the user account holder and block the online use of titles with certain age restrictions...
and no there isnt a way to change DOB on an account...
There should be an option to boot someone out of you're family, i made a new account and somehow made it part of my "Family" and i tried to undo it or kick that user out of it but i can't, and now im stuck.
As long as it's an adult account, you can leave the Family.
If it's under 18, you can't.
The Family Manager can't leave either
i want to change my brithday because i forgot it
Is it not on your birth cerificate?
I need to fix the broth day@fidel_13579fg
The “PEGI” system isn’t law they’re “recommendations” their actual website states it’s there to provide guidance to parents before they decide. My kids can’t buy the titles so I make the choice when they ask for a game. For example GTA V doesn’t get a look in but Detroit is fine yet Sony’s decision to say no means that the parental choice is taken away. They should do it so that the parent account has to “Verify” which titles can be used online which can then be altered if needed and prevent the inevitable fake dob accounts.@Tahvo
Wow reply on a 4-year old post xD
Replied before I looked at the date, sorry 😂@Tahvo
This is unbelievable to me. I just spent a bunch of money on a season pass on a game for my son and he can't use it!! As the master account I should be able to give him permission to play! So now I have to create a separate account for him. I've already got two accounts myself. It's getting awfully hard to keep track of all these accounts!
(4 years old I know) Anyways, I upgraded to a master account from a sub, but can not play multiplayer on The Forest. Everything on my account except streaming and multiplayer on one game works. My dad set my account up years ago when I was a small child and he forgot the year he set it as, so we don't know if the account is 18+ Help?@gavsta72
If you can Sign into the Account and still have access to it, then wander over to Sonymobile.com and sign into that web site.
Once you have a successful Sign In... you can see the DOB that was used.
There is actually an option to change it, but it has no effect whatsoever with the PS Account as it has it's own Terms of Service which forbade you from changing the original DOB.
I entered my real birthday but now I can't sign into YouTube on my ps4 because I'm to young. Now I have to do my videos the hard way and it takes an hour. I wish I could use freaking YouTube!
