Alternatives?

 So, GO!Messenger is dead. Can't say I'm surprised, or indeed that bothered. But where do we go from here?

Skype

I'd really like to see GO!Cam support for Skype now, I actually use video calling with Skype (a lot). I'd never have even considered using the BT Softfone/GO!Messenger service, it was buggy as hell.

PSN Integration

Obviously the PSP recently had an update to include the PSN store. It's rumoured further PSN integration isn't too far behind. I like the idea of been able to communicate not only with other PSP/GO!Cam users, but also people on PS3/PSEye & maybe VAIO notebook/PC, etc.

What would you like to see?

I'd like skype to be made available as an app download from the store for psphat. (1003) I'd also like something along the lines of Ebuddy.
