Go!Messenger is only for Europe as for now ... Heard it works if you put it into the GAME folder though! (giyf)
A friend of mine is having trouble logging in too. Her login and password are getting accepted, but then she get's the famous "connection failed due to a network error". After that she get's the menu and all, but she stays offline. Reconnect does the same. It pauses for about 30secs after the login then prompts the error. She can use her PSP to browse fine, so setup/connection should be fine.
When I suggested she'd try BT softphone2, we could text-chat ... but she appeared to be offline and I couldn't start a VoiceChat (user is offline).
Her signal strength fluctuates between 80% to 60%, both on her PC and PSP, but PC works fine (we usually talk using TS and online games work fine too). I'll suggest trying again closer to the wireless router (Sweex LC000070) when I'll talk to her again. I'm afraid it won't work though =/
I also tried putting her PSP in DMZ, didn't work either. She doesn't have any security on her WiFi. Her ISP is xs4all.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
On the plusside. Mine connects/works fine with WPA, without any extra settings on my router etc.
I also tried to duplicate the error with a signal strength of 50 to 40% out my own home, but I could login just fine.
Have Go! which is kool to say the least but can someone give a solution to remoiving the Automatic settings for scanning wireless Hotspot = AOSS.
How to remove AOSS = Buffalo internet software option that requests to press a button on PSP which is non- existent. In order to access Wireless Hotspot Automatically.
how do i put go!messenger on a united states psp 3000?
