From the developers of last years party game hit, Act It Out! A Game of Charades. Snap Finger Click brings you 'It's Quiz Time'.
It’s Quiz Time is set to be the biggest trivia game ever released on console, with over 9,000 questions and answers to choose from a range of topics that will suit groups of friends and family alike. Guided by Salli, their smart and personal game host, up to eight players can join in the fun, using their Wi-Fi or 3G-connected smartphones as controllers. Solo quizzers can also take on the challenging single player mode to try and get their high score on the expansive leaderboards. This brand new party game will be available in English (for UK and US), as well as French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
It's Quiz Time will launch this November on PlayStation 4.
Quiz Time to meet Salli
She's definitely a cool and interesting host. Looking forward to hearing more about the game.
Hi - We're Snap Finger Click, a Brighton based studio with a team comprised of former Buzz! developers. We're currently working on It's Quiz Time, it's the spiritual successor to Buzz.
A few highlights:
1) With over 9,000 questions, It's Quiz Time is the biggest quiz game ever on console and PC.
2) It's Quiz Time uses state-of-the-art technology to deliver a truly intelligent and personal game host.
3) It's Quiz Time allows up to eight players to join in using their smartphone as a controller. Both Wi-Fi and 3G/4G are supported.
There are a ton of features that we think make the game great fun. We looked a lot at all of the player feedback there was on Buzz!, which features were popular, and how to create a better experience out of that.
You can find out more about the game here (there's also a teaser trailer), but we will announce more soon. It's Quiz Time will be released in November.
If you have any questions, just shout and I'll do my best to answer them! :)
Can only speak for myself, but I'm pretty sure your presence on the forum is very much appreciated 👍
Look forward to seeing a load more about it (...and Salli 🙄).
Buzz was Life dude ✌️
Did Jason cost too much then?
Unfortunately i can't make egx this year (stupid honeymoon)
I'll be hassling attendees tho.
Now wife (& "non gamer') and I enjoyed many hours together enjoying playing and making quizzes etc of the forum
Fair play for the behind the scenes ditty too
Still haven't used the new PS mobile app functions thingy yet, cuz we sux.
Hopefully Salli always picks on the one same mate of mine that Buzz used to.
Mind you, the king of quizmasters is of course this guy:
Your one and true Ava, modelling a lovely 100 Buzz Shirt.
My most prized procession from my PS Home era.
What a young sexy Avatar I was in those days!! LOL
Hey all. Snap Finger Click is at EGX right now, and is demo'n It's Quiz Time. They'll be live on the Twitch stage today, around 3:45pm UK time. Showing off the game. And viewers will be able to play along. hopefully.
Snap Finger Click will be at TwitchCon. And they are live streaming It's Quiz Time.
A new trailer for It's Quiz Time!
Interesting that they now have 25,000 questions. Up from the initial 9,000 in the o.p.
We loved Buzz as a family.@RenegadeXtreme
I think the price is £19.99@WinnieP
Yup they were kind enough to respond to my laziness too 😜
Didnt know it was digital either.@RenegadeXtreme
I assume the app will have tablet support, right?
My phone is pretty old and slow so I'd rather use my tablet to play.
Dang hadn't thought about the cranky old phone the mrs uses (she's got a bloody new one that she only uses for photos grrr)
Friends should be cool though.
Although I do wonder how non gamers think about setting up their phones & downloading apps to play these "mobile assisted thingy games what ever they're called"?
Does that Act It Out have a decent explanation of the initial set up @RenegadeXtreme
Very interesting game to play with a group of friends.
The only down side to me it's the lack of languages the game has.
I remember that Buzz! games had portuguese. It was even dubbed by a tv host that was very popular at that time because of his presence on popular tv gameshows like "Who Wants to be a Millionaire". Of course the Buzz! games probably had a different budget than this one.
Right now, when I have several friends on my house, we usually play Fibbage (from Jackbox Party 1) and That's You. We tend to play That's You more than Fibbage, even though That's You it's way over repetitive, because Fibbage don't have portuguese, and some of my friends don't know english very well to have fun playing that game.
You could always inquire about languages and Portuguese support in the Q&A here:
You never know, they still might be answering.
Same goes for you and your 'questions count' @englishgolfer@PauloKnight
