Metal Gear Solid (PS1) on PSN for India - Not available?

Hi,

I am in India. It has been around 13-14 years since I last played MGS1 on PS1. I had heard that it was available on PSN store so thought I'll check it out.

After spending quite some time on the store, to my surprise the game is not available here. Is it just this region or is this game actually not available in different regions as well?

Also, if this game is not available, is there a way to get it for my PS3 somehow? And can I put this up somewhere?

If you have this ^^   it will work on a PS3.

If not, you'd need the digital copy that works on PS3/PSP/PSVita, but I don't know if your store has it available as I can only view the EU/UK store. Have you tried to buy it on the Web version of the store?

Well, my place was robbed once. My old PS1 along with a few games were gone. Sadly, this was one of them.

Anyways, I tried the digital web store following the link below. It showed me the game in GBP. But once I signed in, it took me to the India page and this game was not in the list. :smileysad:

Any other way I can do something about it?

Alt solution, by a cheap EU or US psp and download it using a EU or US account. That should work :)

I'm afraid it's not available in your territory then. You'd have to track down a disc version.
Getting a PSP and downloading it on there wouldn't help, Ohagan, I think it'd take them to the Indian store once they signed in again.

Some people would suggest making a UK/EU/USA PSN account but, that's not cool because there are territories for a reason.
