VITA VERSION: Motorstorm RC progress not saving :( [ Edited ]

I have big problem with Motorstorm RC. When I shut down the game all my progress (medals and unlocked cars) is erased. When I want to play the game later I have to start all over again :(

Is there any way to fix this?

I keep getting this message and it starting to annoy me. It happens during races and you have not push O button to exit it. Anyway of contacting someone about it ?

I am having the same problem! I have already notified a developer about it via twitter. But since I can explain longer here, I will and then link him this thread.

Basically, the game saves at various times during races & when on menus too. The helmet appears to notify me of saving and then an error message pops up.
"An error occurred during the save operation (8002920A)"
It causes the XMB black screen to pop up & doesn't pause the game but instead seems to floor the throttle. It is very annoying and has spoilt a few runs where I was on a decent time. If it happens at a critical point during a race I really won't be happy. Please fix it before it happens!

I've not experienced this. I assume seeing as you mention the XMB there you are playing on the PS3?

happens to me all the time, almost on every track I try so I have to try many many times to beat my own times because it really can happen on the most critical moments and it's annoying the hell out of me. Fortunately the loading times are superfast so it's not That BIG of a problem, yet..

but at some point when the times will be better all around it will really be annoying since a thousandth of a second can matter. Hope this can get fixed somehow..

Luckily it tends to happen at the beginnings of races rather than towards the end so I haven't had any amazing times ruined as of yet *Touch Wood*

Can anyone please confirm whether you are still experiencing this after version 1.01?

Ever since the Pro-Am update it's even worse as on top of the save game errors, the game also randomly crashes if I try to do Pitwall challenges. It crashes the PS3 and I have to turn the PS3 off and on again.

Yes. I was recording Pro-Am when I first got it and it happened in the very first race I think. The battery ran out though so I deleted the 1 minute recording and recorded more. But yes. It still happens quite regularly.

having exact same issue, tried deleting and reinstalling and checked if space on the memory card was the problem but i have 1gb so its neither of these, i am stumped!

Are you talking about the Vita version? Remember there are 2 versions so it helps if you state which one you are having problems with ;)

No problems here with the PS3 version.

Sorry for not pointing that out, yeah, I'm playing the Vita version.

I have also the same leaderboards problem as Idarion.

Yesterday I thinked that I found the solution – deleted the game, restarted the Vita, downloaded it again, started playing, _skipped logging to PSN_ and my progress was saved when I restarted the game couple of times and always skipped signing in. But later I let the game to connect, accepted the PSN regulations and boom – all progress erased after restarting the game :(

I have the problem with both versions, so there probably is something wrong with our profiles stored on the Motorstorm servers.

My times are not being ranked either, playing on PS3.. hopefully they'll fix it soon.

I was first having trouble with this on the PSVita version, so I donwloaded it on the PS3 to see if that was any different, and alas, it is happening on there too :(

It remebers all of my ghost times, but it just won't save my medals... which is odd, because this ony started happening yesterday or so, as before my medals were showing up and remaining after I quit the game?

same happens here, and I'm in Italy, so I suppose different servers, but neither the PS3 version nor the Vita one (for which I care the most) save progress, medals, cars or even post lap times.

It's really frustrating to start the game for the millionth time.

What's worse is, when you get say, 10 medals, quit the game, then tap it again, before tapping "start" it shows all your medals to your left, and trophies to the right, showing the medals you've been earning in the last game (trophies are not deleted). But the moment you tap "start" BAM, no more things are unlocked. In fact, if you just get to the playground, quit the game and tap it again, it will still show the trophies, but no medals earned...

And even worse, you get to beat a lot of your friend, and it still don't get the time posted, leaving the first time I ever posted on Feb 22nd.

Contacted devs via Twitter, they said they were going to look into it. (and asked my ID for checking it)
